Autopsy Boys pubblicano Song For Debbera. Release Date 2 ottobre 2015

Grandi fans delle Orror B-Movies degli anni Ottanta, di quelli che stanno così male da stare bene, gli Autopsy Boys si formano dopo aver visto la Troma Movies’ ‘Surf Nazi’s Must Die’. Andando alla ricerca della strumentazione utilizzata nella colonna sonora originale, la band ha acquistato quello che poteva e ha iniziato a fare musica.
Nell’arco di tre mesi, gli Autopsy Boys avevano già pronte una manciata di canzoni e motivati da alcune parole di incoraggiamento da parte dei membri del loro gruppo preferito i Dwarves, hanno lasciato i propri rispettivi lavori e si sono iscritti a corsi di musica intensivi per ottenere l’ingresso nel prestigioso Leeds Music College.
Un loro piccolo seguito acquistata la musica degli Autopsy Boys e messa on-line ha permesso loro una apparizione al Festival di musica di Leeds dove il loro punk hardcore combinato ai sintetizzatori e ai campionamenti ha riscontrato un grande successo con il pubblico.
La band è stata avvicinata da una casa discografica locale, ma ha deciso di auto-pubblicare il proprio singolo di debutto, chiedendosi perché avrebbero dovuto affidarsi ad uno studio quando, invece avrebbero potuto costruirne uno. Hanno scavato una cantina sotto il salotto di casa della vocalist Lee e si sono messi subito al lavoro sul loro primo sette pollici ‘Rich Kids Playground‘.
I giudizi estremamente positivi generati dal loro singolo di debutto e il successivo album ‘Def Elements’ è valso agli Autopsy Boys un esercito di fans. Afficiandos Horror amato dove la band stavano arrivando da lyrically e visivamente mentre altri semplicemente apprezzato il loro suono originale e nuovo approccio alla musica.
Un episodio dei Simpson chiamato ’21 tales from Springfield’ inspired Autopsy Boys’ secondo album con ventuno brani e cinque singoli, ha registrato la featuring del loro grande favorito Debbie Rochon, che è un grande fan della band. Iconic horror filmmakers Troma produrrà e distribuirà i video musicali della band: una serie raffigurante ventiquattro ore di anarchia suburbana. La band dispongono anche di VHS Massacre, un documentario sul declino dei nasties and physical media.
Il 2014 ha visto Autopsy Boys come headline al Rebellion music festival e quest’anno sono stati invitati a suonare sul palco principale. Finora la band ha condiviso il palco con band come he Dwarves, Boomtown Rats, The Dickies, Evil Blizzard, DOA, The Buzzcocks, God Damn and Heck. La band ha in programma nel mese di Ottobre un breve tour europeo.

Huge fans of eighties B-movie horrors, the kind that are so bad they’re good, Autopsy Boys formed after seeing Troma Movies’ ‘Surf Nazi’s Must Die’. Researching the equipment used on the original sound track, the band bought what they could within their budget and started making music.
Within three months, Autopsy Boys had a handful of songs and motivated by some encouraging words from the members of their favourite band The Dwarves, they left their jobs and enrolled on intensive music courses to gain entry into Leeds Music College.
A very small following gained from the music Autopsy Boys had placed online led to an appearance at music festival in Leeds where their hardcore punk combined with synths and samples was a huge hit with the audience.
The band were approached by a local record label but decided to self-release their debut single, wondering why they should hire a studio when they could build one instead. They dug a cellar under the living room of vocalist Lee’s house, kitted it out and set to work on their first seven inch ‘Rich Kids Playground’.
The hugely positive reviews generated by their debut single and subsequent album ‘Def Elements’ meant Autopsy Boys soon gained an army of fans. Horror afficiandos loved where the band were coming from lyrically and visually whilst others simply enjoyed their original sound and fresh approach to music.
An episode of the Simpsons called ’21 tales from Springfield’ inspired Autopsy Boys’ second album with twenty-one songs and five singles, all featuring their favorite Canadian scream queen Debbie Rochon who is a big fan of the band. Iconic horror filmmakers Troma will be endorsing and distributing the band’s music videos; a series depicting twenty-four hours of suburban anarchy. The band also feature on VHS Massacre, a documentary about the decline of video nasties and physical media.
2014 saw Autopsy Boys headline the new band stage at Rebellion music festival, this year they were invited to play the main stage. So far the band have shared the stage with bands such as The Dwarves, Boomtown Rats, The Dickies, Evil Blizzard, DOA, The Buzzcocks, God Damn and Heck. The band have a short European tour planned in October.
